Tuesday 17th July - Shukri, a 12 year old girl who had only been in the country for a year was found in the River Irwell days before her 13th birthday under suspicious circumstances. This protest was organised as her family and friends have had many questions unanswered in the investigation of her death which includes the fact of constant bullying by a group of girls at her school and also the fact that she was unable to swim and would not dare go in the river.
